Janos Gyetvan MD plastic surgeon and general surgeon

I graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine of Semmelweis University of Medicine in 1991.

As a fresh graduate I worked in the Department of Surgery at the Flór Ferenc Hospital in Pest County, where I worked as an abdominal surgeon for 9 years. I gained a lot of theoretical knowledge and professional experience in a busy county hospital.

I qualified in general surgery in 1996. After my surgical qualification I oriented myself towards plastic surgery and continued my career at the Plastic Surgery Department of the Szent István Hospital, where I spent more than 12 years.

I qualified in plastic surgery in 2001. I received my theoretical and practical training in the leading plastic surgery departments of Hungary. In the meantime, I have participated in numerous national and international congresses and training courses.

I started my private practice in 2000. Initially, I practiced plastic surgery in Budapest and Gödöllő, and then gradually moved to Gödöllő. Currently, I perform plastic surgery and general surgery at the Sziluett Klinika with a hospital background.

I regularly participate in national and international congresses, where I report on my achievements and learn about new plastic surgery procedures and techniques, as well as about modern machines and devices used in plastic surgery. Through continuous learning and training, I can keep up with the dynamic development of plastic surgery. As president of the Hungarian Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, I also organised a national congress in Kecskemét in 2017.

I would like to thank my patients for their positive feedback, which, as a surgeon and plastic surgeon, has constantly strengthened me and given me strength in every situation!
